The present work is an account of the experiences experienced in the Supervised
Internship in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, of the Physical Education Degree
course in a state school in the city of Tocantinópolis in the state of Tocantins. Internship
is a mandatory and fundamental curricular component for teacher training. Isolation and
social distancing were restrictive measures taken in order to prevent further
dissemination of the virus, causing, consequently, emergency remote education to be
adopted by school institutions in order to maintain teaching activities. Faced with the
new challenges, teacher education was modified and the Supervised Internship
accompanied this movement that continued until the end of the experiences lived in the
internship. In view of the importance of this formative moment and the changes
necessary for teacher education during the pandemic, this work aims to report the
experiences lived by the graduate in the Supervised Internship in a pandemic scenario. |
