Cooperatives expect their employees to have talent, dedication, commitment, quality, but in order to achieve these goals, permanent management actions are needed, where they can detect, measure and develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to carry out business processes. and work activities, these actions must be the main strategic planning methodology, through leadership focused on competence and the development of personal skills. The study methodology was through bibliographic review and analysis of the management of people from 3 Cooperatives in the City of Araguaína / TO of differentiated branches, chosen for analysis by the largest size and already consolidated in the market, being: 2 in the credit branch and 1 in the branch of health. Cooperatives in which the managers made themselves available to participate in the research, and the questionnaire was applied in January 2020, with 7 quantitative questions, evaluating the strategies and actions of people management. The objective of this study is to address the importance of having knowledge to guide a group of people, transforming them into a team, to generate positive results, motivating and influencing the followers, in an ethical and positive way, so that they voluntarily and with enthusiasm to achieve the goals of the team and the organization. It was concluded that the manager has the function of connecting this organization chart of functions and enabling them to integrate mutually in favor of the growth and development of the Cooperative and the personal and professional satisfaction of employees and associates.
