The objective of this research is the elaboration of the fourth module of the Training
Itinerary of the Applied Human and Social Sciences Area (CHSA), entitled An idea in
the head and a camera in the hand, which will be used in the teaching schedule for high
school students of the new document curriculum of the State of Tocantins – BNCC. The
research object is the elaboration of a film-documentary production method as an
alternative for Philosophy Teaching, the Philosophical Microfilm Workshop. The
deepening path is composed of four training modules, which aim at youth protagonism
and the life project, by offering theoretical and practical activities in the area of CHSA,
together with the area of Language and its technologies, developing autonomy, criticality,
and protagonism through orality and communication, employing different technologies
in the production of content related to the media. The Workshop uses the documentary
film as an alternative resource for Philosophy Teaching, by elaborating a practice linked
to the use of technologies. This teaching practice has the purpose of putting into images
knowledge of the History of Philosophy through the production of the cine-documentary
by the students themselves, in a practical and theoretical perspective of teaching, in which
the protagonist student will develop the deepening of their knowledge of Philosophy and
of CHSA, through the production of documentary philosophical micro-films and with the
use of smartphones.
