Trainees were required to follow the monitor residents in attendance, performing anamnesis, physical examination, collection of biological samples, and to monitor surgical procedures, from preoperative until release the patient. This report aims to describe the activities performed at the institution and describe a clinical case accompanied. O estágio curricular foi realizado no Hospital Veterinário da Escola de Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade Federal de Goiás (HV-EVZ-UFG), no período de 04 de Novembro de 2013 a 17 de Janeiro de 2014, totalizando 352 horas. Neste período foram atendidos 127 casos clínicos. Os estagiários tinham a obrigação de acompanhar os residentes nos atendimentos, realizando anamnse, exame físico e coleta de amostras biológicas, bem como acompanhar os procedimentos cirúrgicos, desde o pré-operatório até a liberação do paciente.
