The obligatory supervised traineeship was carried out at the ranch Santa Monica
(SM), located the edges of the Highway PI 130, 11696, in the south of the city of
Teresina Area in the State of Piaui, occurring during the period from November 3,
2014 on January 4 2015 making a total workload of 496 hours (8 hours per day
including shifts of 24 hours), the Equine Clinic area, under the guidance of Prof. Dr.
Francisca Elda Ferreira Dias and supervision of Prof. Dr. Monica Arrivabene and
Medical Veterinary Tatiane Novaes da Costa. In this period were seen 27 clinical
cases performed eight sessions of material for examinations and two necropsy.
These clinical cases treated, was possible follow the treatment of 25 animals, carriers
of different diseases. In this report we present a detailed description of periodic
