The objective was to present and describe the mandatory curricular internship that was carried out
at the Vale do Araguaia Producers Cooperative (VALLECOOP), during the
March 25th to June 17th, 2019, totaling 480 hours and supervised by a
zootechnist. During the period it was possible to monitor the capture of milk from
Araguaína and neighboring regions, with the aim of better organizing producers in the
dairy cattle farming, monitor the installation of milk cooler tanks to
adequacy in Normative Instruction 62 and mechanical milking machines, apart from
participate in assisting cooperative producers by informing them about the
importance of cleaning milk cooler tanks, brass, fabrics
and/or sieves used to strain the milk, in addition to training and hygiene of
mechanical milking. It was possible to follow and participate in courses offered
by SESCOOP in partnership with VALLECOOP for cooperative producers
with the aim of professionalizing or obtaining greater knowledge, thus narrowing
relations between producers and the cooperative, transmitting to them the advantages of
cooperativism. Finally, the participation and organization of the 18th Dairy Tournament during
the Araguaína Agricultural Exhibition (Expoara) 2019 which took place on the 12th,
June 13, 14 and 15 of this year, with the participation of cooperative producers
in order to explore the dairy potential of their cows. Finally, it was possible to follow
the work of VALLECOOP, its organization in the dairy chain and the effort to
facilitate access to credit for its members and facilitate milk production. |
