The teacher's performance goes beyond the literacy of his students, he contributes directly to
the process of humanization of children and young people, his role in the formation of citizens
is extremely important, but to fully perform his functions, it is necessary for the educator to
know what his role is. social, consciousness established through a process of construction of
its identity. This article aims to present a research that aims to understand and systematize the
process of construction of the teaching identity in the teaching degree course during initial
training and the contributions of the internship and didactics. This research proposed to carry
out an investigation about the contributions of the construction process of the teaching
identity in the teaching degree course during initial training and the contributions of the
internship and didactics. Understanding how the teacher's identity formation process takes
place; identifying the tools capable of subsidizing the process and discussing whether the
current teacher training process is sufficient for the construction of this identity. This article
used a qualitative approach, and bibliographic research and documentary research. The
research indicated that initial training alone is not enough to prepare teachers to perform their
activities, that the internship is an essential component in this process, as it allows future
teachers to experience the reality of the classroom, putting into practice the acquired
knowledge and developing pedagogical skills. The internship provides a space for
experimentation and reflection, in which interns can test different teaching strategies, deal
with real challenges and learn from interacting with students. The future educator must have a
robust theoretical basis, articulated with an awareness of the importance of their social action,
as an instrument of opinion formation, seeking to reduce the social inequality perceptible in
society's daily life |
