This article aims to present a research that aims to understand and systematize the process of construction of the teaching identity in the teaching degree course during initial training and the contributions of the internship and didactics. This research proposed to carry out an investigation about the contributions of the construction process of the teaching identity in the teaching degree course during initial training and the contributions of the internship and didactics. Understanding how the teacher's identity formation process takes place; identifying the tools capable of subsidizing the process and discussing whether the current teacher training process is sufficient for the construction of this identity. This article used a qualitative approach, and bibliographic research and documentary research. The research indicated that initial training alone is not enough to prepare teachers to perform their activities, that the internship is an essential component in this process, as it allows future teachers to experience the reality of the classroom, putting into practice the acquired knowledge and developing pedagogical skills. The internship provides a space for experimentation and reflection, in which interns can test different teaching strategies, deal with real challenges and learn from interacting with students. The future educator must have a robust theoretical basis, articulated with an awareness of the importance of their social action, as an instrument of opinion formation, seeking to reduce the social inequality perceptible in society's daily life A atuação do professor vai além da alfabetização de seus alunos, ele contribui diretamente no processo de humanização de crianças e jovens, seu papel na formação do cidadão é de extrema importância, porém para desempenhar suas funções plenamente é necessário que o educador saiba qual sua função social, consciência estabelecida por meio de um processo de construção de sua identidade. Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma pesquisa que visa compreender e sistematizar o processo de construção da identidade docente no curso de licenciatura em pedagogia durante a formação inicial e as contribuições do estágio e da didática. Esta pesquisa propôs-se a realizar uma investigação acerca das contribuições do processo de construção da identidade docente no curso de licenciatura em pedagogia durante a formação inicial e as contribuições do estágio e da didática. Compreendendo como se dá o processo de formação da identidade do professor; identificando as ferramentas capazes de subsidiar o processo e discutindo se o atual processo de formação do professor é suficiente para a construção desta identidade. Esse artigo utilizou uma abordagem qualitativa, e a pesquisa bibliográfica e pesquisa documental. A pesquisa indicou que a formação inicial por si só não é suficiente para preparar o professor para desempenhar suas atividades, que o estágio é um componente essencial nesse processo, pois permite que os futuros docentes vivam a realidade da sala de aula, colocando em prática os conhecimentos adquiridos e desenvolvendo habilidades pedagógicas. O estágio proporciona um espaço de experimentação e reflexão, no qual os estagiários podem testar diferentes estratégias de ensino, lidar com desafios reais e aprender com a interação com os alunos.
