Resumo:
This research aimed to analyze the elements of creativity in the Physical Education Teaching degree program offered by the Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) at the Miracema/TO campus. Based on this general objective, the following specific objectives were pursued: to present how the curriculum of the mentioned course fosters creativity through its curricular matrices; to identify how creativity constitutes an important element for the (de)construction of Physical Education that includes its subjects and knowledge; to understand the epistemological foundations of complexity and how initial training, entwined with creativity, impacts the practice of professionals in the Physical Education course. To achieve this, the study investigated, through the lens of Edgar Morin's complex thinking, how the elements of creativity manifest in the Pedagogical Project of the Physical Education Teaching degree program at UFT. The research question was: what are the elements of creativity in the Pedagogical Project of the Physical Education Teaching degree program at UFT? To answer this, a documentary research was conducted, using the VADECRIE instrument (TORRE, 2012) as the analytical reference, focusing on three categories of investigation: polyvalent curriculum; creativity as a value; human, social, and environmental values. In conclusion, it was observed that the Pedagogical Project of the mentioned course incorporates elements of creativity, as evidenced by the proposed pedagogical scenario and the pedagogical practices that encompassed educational, personal, social, and environmental contexts. Furthermore, creativity and innovation were found to be integrated into the curriculum of the Physical Education course under study.
