Based on this general objective, the following specific objectives were pursued: to present how the curriculum of the mentioned course fosters creativity through its curricular matrices; to identify how creativity constitutes an important element for the (de)construction of Physical Education that includes its subjects and knowledge; to understand the epistemological foundations of complexity and how initial training, entwined with creativity, impacts the practice of professionals in the Physical Education course.To achieve this, the study investigated, through the lens of Edgar Morin's complex thinking, how the elements of creativity manifest in the Pedagogical Project of the Physical Education Teaching degree program at UFT. The research question was: what are the elements of creativity in the Pedagogical Project of the Physical Education Teaching degree program at UFT? To answer this, a documentary research was conducted, using the VADECRIE instrument (TORRE, 2012) as the analytical reference, focusing on three categories of investigation: polyvalent curriculum; creativity as a value; human, social, and environmental values. In conclusion, it was observed that the Pedagogical Project of the mentioned course incorporates elements of creativity, as evidenced by the proposed pedagogical scenario and the pedagogical practices that encompassed educational, personal, social, and environmental contexts. Furthermore, creativity and innovation were found to be integrated into the curriculum of the Physical Education course under study. Esta pesquisa objetivou analisar os elementos de criatividade no curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física ofertado pela Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT), no câmpus de Miracema/TO. A partir deste objetivo geral buscou- se:apresentar como o PPC do referido curso trabalha a criatividade por meio de suas matrizes curriculares;identificar como a criatividade constitui um importante elemento para a (de) construção da Educação Física que inclua seus sujeitos e seus saberes; compreender as bases epistemológicas da complexidade, como a formação inicial, enredada pela criatividade, repercute no fazer do profissional do curso Educação Física.Para tanto, investigou-se,à luz do pensamento complexo de Edgar Morin,como os elementos de criatividade se materializam no Projeto Pedagógico de Curso (PPC) de Licenciatura em Educação Física da UFT. A questão problematizadora foi saber:quais os elementos de criatividade no PPC de Licenciatura em Educação Física da UFT?Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa documental,tendo como referência analítica os indicadores do instrumento VADECRIE (TORRE, 2012), tendo como recorte três categorias de investigação: currículo polivalente; criatividade como valor; valores humanos, sociais e meio ambientais. No final, constatou-se que no PPC do referido curso que há elementos de criatividade, por meio da verificação do cenário pedagógico proposto, bem como na prática pedagógica elencada, a qual contemplou o contexto educativo, pessoal, social e ambiental.
