This is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, an experience report carried out with students in the initial years of elementary school and the participation of two classes, one in the morning shift and the other in the afternoon shift. Playful activities were developed with emphasis on body culture of movement and emphasis on gymnastics in Physical Education classes through observation, planning and execution stages with demonstration of the development of equipment as educational teaching resources that the school did not have to support practical classes. Gymnastics content can be inserted and taught in the classroom, also allowing reflection on the benefits of the this theme and the teaching resources produced. However, the difficulties encountered due to the lack of materials to compose the theme and how to overcome these problems were noticeable. Students in the early years of elementary school experienced the cultural diversity of movements, which is characterized as a formative, transformative and challenging resource, promoting reflection in the execution of these practices in the training of students on the Degree in Physical Education in the face of the reality of the profession. Therefore, it is inferred that it is completely viable to try different types of gymnastics and that more schools and teachers can experience this practice, highlighting how innovative it is for the practice of body culture from the early years of elementary school onwards. O objetivo do trabalho foi descrever os desafios e experiências vivenciadas nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física com enfoque na rotina escolar e atividades desenvolvidas pelas crianças em uma escola municipal do Norte do Tocantins. Trata-se de um pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo relato de experiência realizada com alunos dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental e participação de duas turmas sendo uma, do turno matutino e a outra do turno vespertino. Foram desenvolvidas atividades lúdicas com destaque para cultura corporal de movimento e ênfase na ginástica nas aulas de Educação Física por meio das etapas de observação, planejamento e execução com demonstração da elaboração de equipamentos como recursos didáticos pedagógicas que a escola não possuía para suporte das aulas práticas. O conteúdo pode de ginástica pode ser inserido e ministrado em sala de aula, permitindo também uma reflexão sobre os benefícios dessa temática e dos recursos didáticos produzidos. No entanto, as dificuldades encontradas devido à falta de materiais para compor o tema e como contornar esses problemas foram perceptíveis. Os alunos dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental vivenciaram a diversidade cultural de movimentos, que se caracteriza como um recurso formador, transformador e desafiador, promovendo a reflexão na execução dessas práticas na formação do acadêmico do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física diante da realidade da profissão.
