This dissertation was developed during the Professional Master's course on Amazon Populations (PPGHISPAM), at the Federal University of Tocantins, on the Porto Nacional campus. The research had the general objective of verifying and analyzing the economic and social impacts of the Technical Course in Agriculture integrated with High School offered by the Escola de Familia Agrícola de Porto Nacional (EFAPN), on the training of graduates, between the years 2019 and 2020. This educational institution is characterized as a rural school, as its largest audience is made up of sons and daughters of rural workers and the pedagogical activities are aimed at valuing this space, as well as serving the Rural Education and Education modalities Professional and have as their pedagogical proposal the Pedagogy of Alternation, which consists of school time and community time. The study consisted of preparing a bibliographical review, through the analysis of studies, articles and academic publications on topics related to Rural Education, Professional Education and the Technical Course in Agriculture; also used documentary research of the various records of the school institution such as: the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP), Course Plans and data obtained from the secretariat through the Tocantins School Management System (SGE). Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using the Google Forms tool applied to teachers/monitors and graduates who studied at the institution in the period 2019 and 2020. The research demonstrated the contribution of the Technical course to improving the lives of graduates, related to labor market and other social aspects being the focus of the research. The results revealed that the majority of graduates are included in the job market, with a large proportion in the agricultural sector; some enrolled in higher education courses, the majority focusing on the agricultural sector and/or related areas. The data also revealed that the vast majority have experience in the field and that they do not yet work in their respective training area and expect to work as Agricultural Technicians.
