Law 11.340/1996, the Maria da Penha Law, is intended to support and protect women victims of domestic and family violence, aiming to resolve gender violence. Therefore, this study aims to analyze violence against women during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the impact on the effectiveness of the Maria da Penha Law. From the analysis of the Brazilian context of violence against women; demonstration of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on violence against women; of the case study of how the Maria da Penha Law is put into effect in the COVID-19 pandemic scenario. The research methodology adopted was the exploratory bibliography, with reading and critical analysis of doctrines, articles and jurisprudence on the referred theme dealt with here. As for the nature of the research, it is classified as qualitative with a case study and quantitative with data collection for the numerical expression of cases of violence against women that occurred during the pandemic. The data collection technique was to carry out a survey in books, articles, theses, dissertations, the use of the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil of 1988 will be closely observed and its principles will guide the entire study. The doctrinal material will be obtained through articles published in specialized magazines, books, rulings of higher courts and annals of legislative debates, as well as the interview conducted SPECIALIZED REFERENCE CENTER FOR WOMEN SERVICE IN SANTARÉM (CREAM) to deepen the topic. However, domestic violence against women is historical and cultural, and it is undeniable to be dealt with. However, despite specific legislation with the Maria da Penha Law, more effective measures are still urgent. Durante a pandemia do COVID-19 o índice de violência contra a mulher tem crescido a partir das medidas de isolamento social, fazendo com que as vítimas convivam mais com seu agressor. A Lei 11.340/1996, a Lei Maria da Penha, tem o intuito de amparar e resguardar as mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica e familiar, visando dirimir a violência de gênero. Para tanto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a violência contra a mulher em tempos de Pandemia da COVID-19 e a repercussão na efetividade da Lei Maria da Penha. A partir da análise do contexto brasileiro de violência contra mulher; demonstração dos impactos da pandemia de COVID-19 na violência contra a mulher; do estudo de caso de como ocorre a efetivação da Lei Maria da Penha no cenário pandêmico da COVID-19. A metodologia de pesquisa adotada foi a bibliográfica exploratória, com a leitura e análise crítica em doutrinas, artigos e jurisprudências sobre o referido tema tratado aqui. Quanto à natureza da pesquisa, classifica-se em qualitativa com estudo de caso e quantitativa com a coleta de dados para expressão numérica dos casos de violência contra a mulher ocorridos durante a pandemia. A técnica de coleta de dados foi a realização de um levantamento em livros, artigos, teses, dissertações, a utilização da Constituição da República Federativa do Brasil de 1988 será bastante observada e seus princípios guiarão todo o estudo. O material doutrinário será obtido por meio de artigos publicados em revistas especializadas, livros, acórdãos de tribunais superiores e anais dos debates legislativos, bem como o questionário obtido no CENTRO DE REFERÊNCIA ESPECIALIZADO DE ATENDIMENTO À MULHER EM SANTARÉM (CREAM) para aprofundamento do tema. Conquanto, a violência doméstica contra a mulher é histórica e cultural, sendo indubitável debelar.
