Resumo:
The study compared sludge with cattle manure as a source of N, in addition to testing the addition of chaff coal hedgehog of the chestnut tree in the compost, conducted for 100 days in 200 L. cells Production of sieved compound was 62% in cells without chaff and chaff to 72%, with 63% silt and 71% manure. The levels of available N, K, Ca and Mg were higher in the compound with manure, only in cells without chaff. There was no significant difference for Zn and Mn, only for Fe in relation to the source of N. The carbon was higher in the compound with manure, with an average of 147 g kg-1. The pH of all treatments was within the desirable for agricultural use (5,5 to 6,5) with Al concentration near zero and high values of P. Comparing the mean carbon-containing bags placed in stacks with the value of chaff in the initial phase, there was high increase of N and K. the heavy metal content in the mud with compound are within the allowable range by CONAMA-375/2006. In general, the compound of sludge showed good source of nutrients, matching the manure on many parameters, and confirmed the chaff charcoal adsorption capacity for slow release of nutrients over time, but decreased availability in the final compound
