In this way, we sought to understand the meaning and perception of these young people who experienced the referred programs and the perspectives and/or positive or negative changes that added to their lives. In this sense, a qualitative approach based on the non-directive interview technique was used as a working method, which basically consists of obtaining information based on the free speech of the interviewee. Thus, in the ID Jovem Program, offering half price benefits for sporting events, cinema, theaters, among others, in addition to free interstate transport, 29 young people who participated in this Project and the Projovem Urbano Program, which aimed to increase the level of elementary school education and professional qualification, 42 people who participated in this Project were interviewed in 08 (eight) administrative districts of the municipality of Belém, in addition to documentary research. In general, the programs were well accepted by the young population, given the great repercussion and positive impacts on their lives, however, the lack of continuity of youth projects and dissemination of their agendas and the obstacles in the personal and family life of young people project participants add up to major impediments to better performance with quality in school and professional life. Another aspect is the dismantling and weakening that public policies for youth have suffered in recent years, with loss of budget, causing the discontinuity and demobilization of Programs and Projects aimed at this public. Esta dissertação teve por objetivo, analisar os impactos socioeconômicos e socioculturais decorrentes da implementação dos Programas Federais, ID Jovem e o ProJovem Urbano em Belém, no período 2012 a 2020.Com intuito de contextualizar o objeto da pesquisa realizou se uma abordagem teórica a respeito da Juventude em seus aspectos conceituais e categorias sociológicas sobre distintos autores, além do que, analisou-se a questão teórica sobre o Estado e a discussão e os avanços das Políticas Públicas de Juventude no Brasil. Desse modo, buscou-se compreender, o significado e a percepção destes jovens que vivenciaram os referidos programas e as perspectivas e/ou mudanças positivas ou não que somaram para suas vidas. Em tal sentido, se utilizou como método de trabalho uma abordagem qualitativa baseada na técnica de entrevista não diretiva, que resumidamente consiste em obter informações baseadas no discurso livre do entrevistado. Assim, no Programa ID Jovem, ofertando benefícios de meia entrada para eventos esportivos, cinema, teatros entre outros, além da gratuidade no transporte interestadual, foram entrevistados 29 jovens que participaram desse Projeto e o Programa Projovem Urbano, que objetivava o aumento no nível da escolaridade do ensino fundamental e a qualificação profissional, foram entrevistados 42 pessoas que participaram desse Projeto, em 08 (oito) Distritos administrativos do município de Belém, além da pesquisa documental. De maneira geral, os programas foram bem aceitos pela população jovem, haja visto a grande repercussão e impactos positivos na vida destes, porém, a falta de continuidade dos projetos para juventude e divulgação de suas agendas e os entraves da vida pessoal e familiar dos jovens participantes dos projetos, somam os grandes impedimentos para um melhor desempenho com qualidade na vida escolar e profissional. Outro aspecto é o desmonte e enfraquecimento que as políticas públicas para a juventude sofreram nos últimos anos, com perda de orçamento, ocasionando a descontinuidade e desmobilização de Programas e Projetos voltados para esse público.
