It is important to know the difficulties and potential of these users in order to offer products and services to mediate information, helping the school to promote Inclusive Education. The present research has as general objective to analyze the information mediation practices for students with disabilities in the School of Application of the Federal University of Pará (EAUFPA) library. The research universe was composed by the school library of the School of Application of the Federal University of Pará. The research has a descriptive character and is classified as a Case Study focusing on the inclusive practices of the EAUFPA library. A Case Study was carried out with the field diary as an instrument for recording the data collected in the institutional documents and in the activities with professional servants who work at EAUFPA. An analysis of documents of the practice in the referred field in the last ten (10) years was carried out. At the end of the collection, the data obtained were organized in a qualitative way, through content analysis. At the end of the study, it was possible to observe that the EA library has been developing some inclusive practices and has been concerned with improving the mediation of information for the public with disabilities, with the guidelines of the Inclusive Education Coordination. However, it still needs to go a long way to reach accessibility, mainly instrumental. The study thus brings information and thougths that can help in the realization of projects that include all students of that school, regardless of conditions, characteristics and possibilities. A mediação da informação pode ser vista como garantia de acessibilidade, sobretudo no contexto da educação Inclusiva, criando possibilidades para que alunos da educação especial possam adquirir competência informacional para leitura, pesquisa e uso de tecnologia da informação. É importante conhecer as dificuldades e potencialidades desses usuários a fim de oferecer produtos e serviços para mediar a informação, auxiliando a escola na promoção da Educação Inclusiva. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar as práticas de mediação da informação para alunos com deficiência na biblioteca da Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará (EAUFPA), visando a identificar as práticas desenvolvidas pelos servidores atuantes na biblioteca da EAUFPA. O universo da pesquisa foi composto pela biblioteca escolar da Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará. A pesquisa tem caráter descritivo e está classificada como Estudo de Caso com foco nas práticas inclusivas da biblioteca da EAUFPA. O Estudo de Caso teve no diário de campo o principal instrumento para registro dos dados coletados nos documentos institucionais e nas atividades com profissionais servidores que atuam na EAUFPA. Foi realizada análise de documentos da prática no referido campo nos últimos dez (10) anos. Ao final da coleta os dados obtidos foram organizados de forma qualitativa, por meio de análise de conteúdo. Após o estudo, foi possível observar que a biblioteca da EA vem desenvolvendo algumas práticas inclusivas e tem se preocupado em melhorar a mediação da informação para o público com deficiência, com as orientações da Coordenação de Educação Inclusiva. No entanto, ainda necessita avançar para ampliar a acessibilidade, principalmente a informacional. O estudo traz informações em reflexões que poderão auxiliar a realização de projetos que incluam a todos(as) alunos(as) da referida escola, independente de condições, características e possibilidades.
