Resumo:
The objective is to verify how the practice of adapted sports favors the inclusion of people with visual impairments in physical education (PE) classes. It is a qualitative study carried out in 2019 in the Tucuruí campus of the IFPA in a high school class, where goalball and a game of 5-player soccer were developed. The classes were structured according to Dolz, Noverraz, and Schneuwly (2004). A questionnaire adapted from Cunha (2013) was used for data collection and the responses were processed and analyzed by the IRAMUTEQ software. The results showed positive reflections about inclusion and that these sports are inclusive. We concluded that the practice of adapted sports modalities in PE classes favors the inclusion of people with visual impairments.
