It is known that play activities are important tools that lead the child to develop the practice of reading and writing in a pleasurable and meaningful way. This research used Pedagogical references that provided the necessary orientation for the search of a discussion and reflection about the role of playfulness as a teacher practice in the children's education in the school. In this work, several authors mention the topic, which is a fundamental element of pedagogical practice that seeks to develop the interest and pleasure of reading and social understanding in children at this level of learning. From the analysis of the teaching-learning process through playfulness, it is noticed that the playful and the child are under the influence of both and deserve great attention, because of the playful relationship and child is born learning. It should also be emphasized that this research was developed through qualitative research, observing the reality of practice in Santa Maria school. Thus, a questionnaire was applied to understand the teaching-learning process in the researched school. Such a vision allowed us to reflect on the pedagogical practice that determines the aspects listed in the research. It is believed that the structured planning, organized and proposed for the classes can, with the ludic activities, contribute to the development of learning in childhood. O presente trabalho propõe-se a discutir a importância da ludicidade na prática docente da Educação Infantil, no que se refere a aprendizagem da criança, partindo de um estudo do seu significado e conceitos sobre o desenvolvimento da ludicidade para enfatizar a necessidade de sua utilização eficaz no espaço da escola Santa Maria e Maria Eloisa de Souza, no município de Abaetetuba. Sabe-se que as atividades com brincadeiras são importantes ferramentas que levam a criança a desenvolver a prática da leitura e da escrita de forma prazerosa e significativa. Esta pesquisa utilizou-se de referências pedagógicas que forneceram a orientação necessária para a busca de uma discussão e reflexão acerca do papel da ludicidade como prática docente na educação infantil na escola. Neste trabalho destacam-se vários autores que mencionam sobre o tema, a qual a ludicidade é elemento fundamental da prática pedagógica que pretende desenvolver o interesse e o prazer da leitura e compreensão social nas crianças neste nível de aprendizagem. A partir da análise do processo de ensino-aprendizagem através da ludicidade, percebe-se que o lúdico e a criança estão sob influência de ambos e merecem grande atenção, porque da relação lúdico e criança nasce a aprendizagem. Cabe ressaltar também que esta pesquisa desenvolveu-se por meio de pesquisa–qualitativa, observando-se a realidade da pratica na escola Santa Maria. Desse modo, aplicou-se um questionário para compreender o processo ensino-aprendizagem na escola pesquisada. Tal visão permitiu-nos a reflexão a respeito da prática pedagógica que determina os aspectos elencados na pesquisa.
