The museum is, nowadays, the oldest in the country, bringing together 152 years of scientific experience in the Amazon. This research has a qualitative character and combined the following techniques: mapping of practices for accessibility, observation in the spaces of the zoobotanical park, interviews with professionals directly related to the scientific dissemination in the institution and description and analysis. As main concepts were used the studies on accessibility and inclusion worked by Sassaki (2005); the concepts of Wolton (2006) that understands communication as sharing; Bueno's research (2010) on scientific dissemination and scientific literacy; as well as the works developed by Cohen, Duarte and Brasileiro (2012), which provided essential information on accessibility practices in museums. O objetivo desta investigação é compreender de que maneira as práticas de divulgação científica do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi são feitas de forma acessível à pessoas com deficiência. O museu é atualmente o segundo mais antigo do país, reunindo 152 anos de experiência científica na Amazônia. Esta pesquisa tem caráter qualitativo e combinou as seguintes técnicas: levantamento bibliográfico, mapeamento de práticas voltadas à acessibilidade; observação nos espaços do parque Zoobotânico; entrevistas com profissionais diretamente ligados à divulgação científica na instituição; descrição e análise.
