Indicates the importance of the librarian to confront the issues with focus of life-long learning of Environmental Information (EI) and Environmental Education (EE) in the face of their respective context historically until the present time in a historic and conceptual manner. Describe chronologically the environmental discussions in diffuse degrees such as: holding of conferences on environmental, the environmental dome, granting rules, decrees and laws. Explains the function of the librarian since the emergence of the profession in a Brazilian and overall context with the past and current vision theme of this professional, reaching in a discussion of the the librarian performance in the face of socio environmental issues. Methodologically the monograph has been elabored though the exploratory research, aiming to build hypotheses from problems raised; bibliographic due to be made from already published material, such as: books, theses and scientific articles and; Qualitative approach du te not choose to adopt the statistical information in it's own theoretical scope but describing a problem with the purpose to understand the process of social change. The concluded results indicate the social responsibility which the librarian possess in his performance in face of the environment and the social awareness mobilizations and in the process of opinion leaders before the availability to the EI and the continued education of EE. |
