It is on the miss that the respective work elucidates what is understood by Miss Sympathy and the issues that imply her little participation in the unofficial and official competitions of other municipalities. In addition, the importance of the role and the contribution of the sympathy in the Junina gang of Belém do Pará will be seen, as well as its little participation in unofficial and official competitions in certain municipalities will be investigated. The methodology used in the research is the autoethnographic method, which can be used in research and writing. As a research technique, I present three interviews with players who participate in their gang groups as sympathies missions in the city of Belém. As conclusion, it emphasizes that in the existence of the gang, misses, as in the case of Sympathy, plays an important role, since it has a representative prominence within the Junina gang, for various attributes such as physical beauty, social importance, how to perform the choreography in a harmonic way, as well as being characterized by being the symbol of the jungle gang culture of the groups for a long time. Nos grupos de quadrilhas junino em Belém do Pará existem três destaques importantes, as misses Caipira, Mulata/Morena Cheirosa e Simpatia, representantes em sua categoria da vida campestre, da brejeirice e sensualidade da jovem ribeirinha e por último a que mageia o público para sua quadrilha. É sobre a miss que o respectivo trabalho vem elucidar o que se compreende por miss Simpatia e as questões que implicam sua pouca participação nos concursos não oficiais e oficiais de outros municípios. Além disso, será visto a importância do papel e a contribuição da miss simpatia na quadrilha junina de Belém do Pará, bem como será investigado a sua pouca participação nos concursos não oficiais e oficiais em certos munícipios. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa é a da etnocenologia. Para Armindo Bião (1998, p. 17), assim “[...] a Etnocenologia se inscreve na vertente das etnociências e tem como objeto os comportamentos humanos espetaculares [...] teatro, dança, além de outras práticas espetaculares não especificamente artísticas ou mesmo sequer extracotidianas”. Os autores que dialogam com esta pesquisa são Armindo Bião, Maria Ana Azevedo, Eleonora Leal, Rafael Noleto, Luciene Lopes, Johan Huizinga entre outros. Como técnica de pesquisa apresento três entrevistas com brincantes que participam em seus grupos de quadrilhas como misses simpatias na cidade de Belém. Como conclusão ressalta que na existência da quadrilha, as misses, como no caso da Simpatia, possuem um papel importante, pois tem um destaque representativo dentro da quadrilha junina, por diversos atributos, como beleza física, importância social, saber executar a coreografia de forma harmônica, bem como ser caracterizada por ser o símbolo da cultura da quadrilha junina dos grupos há bastante tempo. 2021-01-24T00:35:01Z 2021-01-24T00:35:01Z 2018 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação MATOS, Letícia Samara Fernandes.
