This article / essay consists of a case study conducted at Dorothy Stang Rural Family
House, located in the municipality of Anapu, state of Pará, and it is proposed to do an analysis
of part of the literature about how the idealization process took place, reasoning and
implementation of CFRs in general and, an appreciation, with the social actors involved in the
implementation and functioning of the same, considering, notably, the degree of importance
attached to this, as well as its representativeness with the peasant society of the region.
Therefore, the role that the CFR plays with peasants is considered, beyond aspects related to
pedagogical training and the search for public policies, because the latter proposes to develop
activities that seek to improve the quality of life of the regional / local peasantry, in the
formulation of basic health policies, recreation, education, entertainment, etc. Besides that, the
proposal is intended to be emancipatory towards young students in the field, valuing their
culture, your knowledge, aiming to constitute these in the condition of protagonist. In this
sense, we will discuss throughout this work, the extent to which this proposition is effective in
the daily life of the local / regional peasantry, considering the universe of families that
participate directly or indirectly in the referred project, bringing to debate part of the
idealization process and building the CFR, as well as the ideals that underpinned its
constitution, from the perceptions of those involved in that project. |
