In Belém, the flat relief favors the use of bicycle transport, but the old system of shared bicycles (micromobility) that existed in the city, “Bike Belém”, was discontinued in 2020. Investigate the reasons for this failure and propose improvements and modifications for a new successful system of bike share are the objectives of this work. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with agents involved in the implementation of Bike Belém and an online questionnaire was applied to assess the population's opinions on this issue. Finally, based on the data obtained from the interviews and the questionnaire, recommendations were made - in the light of the GIZ Agency's Urban Micromobility Guide - for an eventual implementation of a new bike share system in Belém. The main results obtained through the interviews were made aware that the original project was purposely created to serve only the historic and tourist center of the city, that the project did not undergo adaptations to suit the city and that the indices used to determine the success of the project were given by the number of registered users and trips made. The main results obtained through the questionnaire were knowing that 28% of respondents do not live or work/study in the city center, that 56% have low income, that 100% used bicycles for recreational purposes and that most were not assiduous in the frequency of use of bicycles. It was concluded that the main reasons for the decrease in trips carried out on the Bike Belém were the low quality of the cycle structure in Belém, the lack of encouragement to use the project's bicycles and the little maintenance carried out on the equipment, which culminated in the removal of sponsorship of the initiative. Therefore, the main measures to be adopted in a new system of shared bicycles would involve the municipal management to carry out improvements in the cycling structure of Belém and adopt a supervisory role for the project, charging the operating company for an updated maintenance plan for the equipment. and work on promoting use (through campaigns, attractive rates and increased cycling time) and educate/encourage the population about the importance of attendance to keep the initiative financially viable. Micromobilidade refere-se a viagens curtas utilizando veículos leves, sendo eles elétricos ou não. Em Belém o relevo plano favorece a utilização do transporte cicloviário, porém o antigo sistema de bicicletas compartilhadas (micromobilidade) existente na cidade, Bike Belém, foi descontinuado em 2020. Investigar as razões desse insucesso e propor melhorias e modificações para que um novo sistema de bicicletas compartilhadas logre êxito constituem o objetivo deste trabalho. Para tanto, foram realizadas entrevistas com prepostos envolvidos na implantação do Bike Belém e aplicou-se um questionário on-line para aferir as opiniões da população quanto a essa temática. Por fim, a partir dos dados obtidos com as entrevistas e com o questionário foram feitas recomendações - à luz do Guia Micromobilidade Urbana da Agência GIZ - para uma eventual implantação de um novo sistema de bicicletas compartilhadas em Belém. Os principais resultados obtidos por meio das entrevistas foram ter conhecimento de que o projeto original foi criado propositalmente para atender apenas o centro histórico e turístico da cidade, que o projeto não sofreu adaptações para se adequar a cidade e que os índices utilizados para determinar o sucesso do projeto se davam pela quantidade de usuários cadastrados e viagens realizadas. Os principais resultados obtidos por meio do questionário foram ter conhecimento que 28% dos respondentes não residem ou trabalham/estudam no centro da cidade, que 56% possui baixa renda, que 100% utilizava as bicicletas para fins recreativos e que a maioria não era assídua na frequência de utilização das bicicletas. Concluiu-se que as principais razões para a diminuição das viagens realizadas no Bike Belém foram a baixa qualidade da estrutura cicloviária de Belém, a falta de incentivo ao uso das bicicletas do projeto e a pouca manutenção realizada nos equipamentos, que culminou com a retirada de patrocínio da iniciativa. Tem-se então que as principais medidas a serem adotadas em um novo sistema de bicicletas compartilhadas seriam envolver a gestão municipal para realizar melhorias na estrutura cicloviária de Belém e adotar um papel fiscalizador do projeto, cobrar da empresa operadora um plano de manutenção atualizado dos equipamentos e trabalhar na promoção ao uso (por meio de campanhas, tarifas atrativas e aumento do tempo de utilização da bicicleta) e educar/estimular a população sobre a importância da assiduidade para manter a iniciativa financeiramente viável. 2021-11-03T16:45:59Z 2021-11-03T16:45:59Z 2021-10-06 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação CRUZ, Lynnie Ferraz; OLIVEIRA, William Souza de.
