Document evaluation represents a concrete and at the same time subjective archival function because it is an intellectual process, this is due to the fact that its application depends on the context of the file that the documentation is in and the premises of the professional who evaluates these documents. Professional ethics is fundamental in understanding this function through the professional's performance, through this, this research seeks to analyze how ethics can be evidenced in the evaluation of documents, and what are the results of an ethical conduct in the exercise of professional activities through a case study in the Guilherme de La Penha Archive of the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará, the aim is to analyze the correlation between ethics and the evaluation of documents, as well as the evaluation of documentary temporalities and the elimination of documents. |
