The specific objectives were: classifying the triangles according to their sides and angular openings; identify the right triangle in terms of measurements: 3, 4 and 5; describe the Pythagorean Theorem, and its relation to the use of Tangram; and still construct the right triangle to mark an area in the shape of a quadrilateral. In the research methodology, we sought to apply the types and applicability of triangles in the teaching and learning of mathematics in elementary school in a school in the municipality of Acará (PA) in order to demonstrate the importance of triangles in mathematical knowledge. The work showed that the Pythagorean theorem related to the use of Tangran is not just a set of equations to be solved, but that it can be inserted in several situations, including civil construction (walls, rooms, etc.), soccer games (field), and other cases found in everyday life, which can help the student to better understand abstract concepts by applying them in practical and visible cases. Desse modo o objetivo deste artigo foi conhecer os tipos e aplicabilidades dos triângulos no ensino e aprendizagem da matemática no ensino fundamental em uma escola do município de Acará (PA). Os objetivos específicos foram: classificar os triângulos conforme seus lados e aberturas angulares; identificar o triângulo retângulo quanto ás medidas: 3, 4 e 5; descrever o Teorema de Pitágoras, e sua relação com o uso do Tangram; e ainda construir o triângulo retângulo para marcar uma área na forma de um quadrilátero. Na metodologia da pesquisa buscou-se aplicar os tipos e aplicabilidades dos triângulos no ensino e aprendizagem da matemática no ensino fundamental em uma escola do município de Acará (PA) a fim de demonstrar a importância dos triângulos no conhecimento matemático. O trabalho demonstrou que o teorema de Pitágoras relacionado ao uso do Tangram não se trata apenas de um conjunto de equações para ser resolvidas, mas que ela pode estar inserida em várias situações, inclusive na construção civil (paredes, quartos etc), jogo de futebol (campo), e outros casos encontrados no cotidiano, que podem ajudar o aluno a compreender melhor os conceitos abstratos aplicando-os em casos práticos e visíveis. 2023-01-12T20:40:15Z 2023-01-12T20:40:15Z 2022-12-19 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação - Artigo SILVA, Adelmo Luis Marques da.
