The objective of this course completion paper was to analyze the participation of the school and local community in the Municipal Education System of public schools: a documental study in Vitória do Xingu-Pa. It is a qualitative study from the perspective of documentary analysis. The data survey was carried out through a literature review and official documents: Federal Constitution of 1988; Law of Directives and Bases of National Education (LDBEN) nº 9.394/1996; National Education Plan, Law nº 13.005/2014; Municipal Education Plan of Vitória do Xingu - Pará, Law nº 256/2015; and Municipal Education System of Vitória do Xingu - Pará, instituted by Law nº 006/2018. The results show that the participation of the school and local community is present in the official documents, which express the support of this right of society through legislation, but that it is still necessary to make use of other artifices so that the community has knowledge and interest to participate in the collaborative process for the improvement of education. |
