This paper highlights the use of mathematical games, in particular the Tower of Hanoi,
as an effective educational tool for teaching mathematics in elementary school. It explores
how games can make learning mathematics accessible and fun, encouraging students to
get involved and develop logical skills. The Tower of Hanoi game is presented as a
problem situation that can be applied in the classroom, promoting the development of
students' logical and strategic thinking. In addition, the text discusses Mathematical
Modeling as an approach that combines mathematical theory and practice, encouraging
students to think abstractly and collaborate in solving problems. At the end, proposals for
mathematical modeling activities using the Tower of Hanoi as a basis are presented,
highlighting how this approach can be implemented effectively in the teaching of
mathematics. It should be noted that this work does not include any application results. |
