Resumo:
The central proposal of this work is to develop an educational game using the Scratch software, with the aim of strengthening the learning of the four Mathematical operations among Elementary School students. The game was designed with the aim of stimulating student engagement, increasing their motivation and understanding of mathematical concepts. The process of this work will unfold in two fundamental stages. Initially, a phase will be dedicated to creating the game, followed by the second phase, which will consist of proposing its application to 6th year students. To support this initiative, basic descriptive research was conducted, based on Seymour Papert's theory of Constructionism, which emphasizes the importance of players themselves building their knowledge. Through interaction with digital games, a notable increase in students' motivation, concentration and ability to solve mathematical problems is observed. Additionally, this approach is effective in promoting a more positive relationship with the subject of Mathematics, contributing to a more engaging and meaningful learning environment.
