It explores how games can make learning mathematics accessible and fun, encouraging students to get involved and develop logical skills. The Tower of Hanoi game is presented as a problem situation that can be applied in the classroom, promoting the development of students' logical and strategic thinking. In addition, the text discusses Mathematical Modeling as an approach that combines mathematical theory and practice, encouraging students to think abstractly and collaborate in solving problems. At the end, proposals for mathematical modeling activities using the Tower of Hanoi as a basis are presented, highlighting how this approach can be implemented effectively in the teaching of mathematics. It should be noted that this work does not include any application results. Este trabalho destaca o uso de jogos matemáticos, em particular a Torre de Hanói, como uma ferramenta educacional eficaz para ensinar Matemática no ensino básico. Ele explora como os jogos podem tornar o aprendizado da matemática acessível e divertido, incentivando os alunos a se envolverem e a desenvolverem habilidades lógicas. O jogo Torre de Hanói é apresentado como uma situação problema que pode ser aplicada em sala de aula, promovendo o desenvolvimento do raciocínio lógico e estratégico dos alunos. Além disso, o texto discute a Modelagem Matemática como uma abordagem que combina teoria matemática e prática, incentivando os alunos a pensar de forma abstrata e a colaborar na resolução de problemas. Ao final, são apresentadas propostas de atividades de Modelagem Matemática usando a Torre de Hanói como base, destacando como essa abordagem pode ser implementada de forma eficaz no ensino da matemática.
