Resumo:
This study aimed to reveal my teaching practices through narratives. Divided into three chapters, the first chapter draws a historical line describing the origin of classical ballet under the theories of Eliana Caminada, Flavio Sampaio, Jack Anderson and Paul Bourcier. The second chapter illustrates the arrival of Ballet in Brazil and its trajectory to Belém do Pará; considering, the contributions made by great dancers such as: Augusto Rodrigues, Clara Pinto, Rosario Martins, Alessandra Freitas and Anny Erika Franco. Besides the studies of Eliana Caminada, it is used as a theoretical base the dissertations of Ana Cristina Freire and Giselle Cardoso Moreira. The third and final chapter, reveals my artistic development influenced by the foundation dance school Bella Art. This research reveals the importance that should be given to the historical background of classical ballet training to the consolidation of dance in Belém do Pará and along with it, a specific ramification which intends to perpetuate the teaching of the history of classical ballet in the State of Belém do Pará.
