Considering the advancement of technologies and their influence in various areas in society, including education, the present work deals with new technologies and makes a relationship between the use of video and its contributions to the teaching of biology. The general objective of the study is to analyze the perception of teachers in relation to the contribution of video in teaching biology learning. In order to understand the profile of teachers regarding the use of technological resources and the acceptability of proposals for the use of videos, a qualitative research was carried out through the application of a questionnaire with open and closed questions and the presentation of three roadmaps. learning with different themes. The research revealed that teachers recognize the potential of using videos for teaching biology and demonstrated a positive level of acceptability regarding the proposals presented O vídeo constitui um recurso que apresenta características importantes e que podem contribuir significativamente para o processo de ensino aprendizagem, na contextualização e exemplificação dos conteúdos de biologia. Considerando o avanço das tecnologias e sua influência em várias áreas na sociedade, incluindo a educação, o presente trabalho aborda as novas tecnologias e faz uma relação entre o uso do vídeo e suas contribuições para o ensino de biologia. O objetivo geral do estudo consiste em analisar a percepção dos professores em relação a contribuição do vídeo no ensino aprendizagem de biologia. Com o intuito de compreender o perfil dos professores quanto ao uso de recursos tecnológicos e a aceitabilidade de propostas de utilização de vídeos, foi realizada uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo através da aplicação de um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas e a apresentação de três roteiros de aprendizagem com temáticas diferentes.
