The present work deals with an experimental class on a topic of spatial geometry: The volume of the pyramid and the Cavalieri Principle. The class was proposed to teach geometry through a dynamic methodology that awakens students' interest in mathematics. For this, an experimental class script was followed, available on the Multimedia Math website, https://m3.ime.unicamp.br/. The methodology used was qualitative and for data collection the technique of applying tests on the standard theme, made available to students from high schools in the municipalities of São Gabriel da Cachoeira and Itacoatiara in the State of Amazonas. Through the obtained data, it was observed the great deficiency in the learning of geometry. |
