Resumo:
This study investigates the initiatives of Rede Wayuri, an indigenous communication network in the Amazon region, which uses audio productions on streaming platforms as a form of resistance, as well as to preserve and disseminate traditions, languages and knowledge. Approaching the perspective of indigenous net-activism, the research comprised the activities of the Rede Wayuri, adopting a qualitative approach. The analysis encompassed the network's productions in the period from January 1 to May 30, 2023, which occurred after the creation of the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples during the mandate of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The methodology used included a bibliographic review (Gil, 2004) and a semi-structured interview (Boni and Quaresma, 2005) with the network's presenter, Cláudia Ferraz, from Wanano people. As results, the research highlights indigenous net-activism strategies adopted by the Wayuri Network, which include audio production as a resistance strategy and the promotion of relevant discussions addressing topics such as leaders and institutions, indigenous organization, indigenous lands and the environment, health and community well-being, initiatives and the indigenous movement.
