Resumo:
The present course completion work – TCC, entitled “Early Childhood Education: The Pedagogical Practices of Teachers and the Challenges and Perspectives for a Quality Educational Process,” aims to understand the pedagogical practices in early childhood education and the challenges and perspectives associated with a quality educational process, focusing on the reality of preschool in the Amazon context. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach, using methods such as participant observation, questionnaires, and documentary analysis to collect data on teaching methodologies and interaction with children. The authors that underpin my research are: Mota (2016), Coelho (2020), Arroyo (2014), Rocha (2008), among others. The results indicate that, despite the challenges faced, pedagogical practices can promote a meaningful learning environment. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of valuing children's cultural identity, fostering their integral development. The study contributes to the reflection on the training of educators and the need for methodologies that respect cultural diversity. Thus, it proposes an education that integrates local experiences and knowledge into the teaching-learning process.
