The im-portance of the Maria da Penha Law - Law No. 11,340/2006 in the criminalization of violence against women is addressed as one of the main means of combating this phenomenon in Bra-zil. The discussion emphasizes domestic violence during the period from 2020 to 2021. Thus, data related to the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and the unfavorable situation in Brazil in relation to social rights, especially women's rights, are presented. Furthermore, the study discusses the relevance of Social Workers in Social Assistance Policy in terms of Medium Complexity, considering their work in the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS). The central objective was to analyze violence against women during the Covid-19 pandemic, highlighting the actions carried out by CREAS in Parintins-AM. The study, of a qualitative nature, was based on critical social theory, using bibliographical review and docu-mentary research, focusing on official public documents, including the Monthly Service Re-ports (RMA's) and Reports of the Protection Service and Specialized Assistance to Families and Individuals (PAEFI) from CREAS/Parintins in 2020 and 2021. Advances in policies and instruments to combat violence against women were not enough to contain the alarming growth of domestic violence, and women continue to be the main victims O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso propôs uma discussão sobre as diversas formas de violência contra as mulheres, que são intrinsecamente ligadas ao patriarcado no contexto do sistema capitalista, dentro do contexto das relações hierárquicas, estruturais e desiguais de poder. A importância da Lei Maria da Penha - Lei Nº 11.340/2006 na criminalização das violências contra as mulheres é abordada como um dos principais meios de combate a esse fenômeno no Brasil. A discussão dá ênfase na violência doméstica durante o período de 2020 a 2021. Assim, são apresentados dados relacionados ao contexto da pandemia da Covid-19 e a situação desfavorável no Brasil em relação aos direitos sociais, especialmente os direitos das mulheres. Além disso, o estudo discute a relevância dos Assistentes Sociais na Política de Assistência Social quanto à Média Complexidade, considerando a atuação no Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (CREAS). O objetivo central foi analisar a violência contra a mulher durante a pandemia da Covid-19, destacando as ações realizadas pelo CREAS em Parintins-AM. O estudo, de natureza qualitativa, foi baseado na teoria social crítica, utilizando a revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa documental, com foco em documentos públicos oficiais, incluindo os Relatórios Mensais de Atendimento (RMA’s) e Relatórios do Serviço de Proteção e Atendimento Especializado a Famílias e Indivíduos (PAEFI) do CREAS/Parintins nos anos de 2020 e 2021.
