To this end, an inventory of local legislative initiatives is conducted, with the objective of assessing their impact on the consolidation of social rights for these workers. The study adopts a qualitative approach, based on bibliographic and documentary analyses, mapping the bills (PLs) from the Manaus City Council from 2021 to 2024 and examining their implications for platform- based work. The first chapter examines the concept of labor and the transformations in the workforce in contemporary capitalism, including the “uberization” of work and its consequences in Manaus. The second chapter explores the (de)regulation of platform-based work in the city, analyzing the bills and challenges to ensuring protection for these workers. The third chapter discusses the impacts of legislation on the social and labor rights of platform workers, also addressing legislative political behavior and regulatory prospects. Results indicate that, within the period studied, 32 bills related to labor, welfare, and social security were presented; however, only three directly address platform-based work, without adequately ensuring worker protection. Thus, this study contributes to a broader understanding of the working conditions and policies aimed at protecting platform workers in Manaus, highlighting the complexities and challenges encountered in this constantly evolving scenario. This knowledge is crucial to guiding future discussions and public policy proposals that aim to effectively regulate and protect the rights of these workers. Esta pesquisa investiga a precarização do trabalho plataformizado e sua (des)regulamentação em Manaus, buscando compreender as conexões entre o processo de precarização e a produção legislativa municipal que impacta os direitos dos trabalhadores desse setor. Portanto, é realizado um inventário das iniciativas legislativas locais, com o objetivo de avaliar seu impacto na consolidação dos direitos sociais desses trabalhadores. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa, com base em análises bibliográficas e documentais, mapeando os projetos de lei (PLs) da Câmara Municipal de Manaus, de 2021 a 2024, e examinando suas implicações para o trabalho mediado por plataformas digitais. O primeiro capítulo examina o conceito de trabalho e as mudanças no mundo laboral no capitalismo contemporâneo, incluindo a "uberização" do trabalho e suas consequências em Manaus. O segundo capítulo explora a (des)regulamentação do trabalho plataformizado na cidade, analisando projetos de lei e os desafios para garantir a proteção desses trabalhadores. O terceiro capítulo discute os impactos da legislação sobre os direitos sociais e trabalhistas dos trabalhadores de plataformas digitais abordando, também, o comportamento político legislativo e as perspectivas de regulamentação. Os resultados indicam que, no período estudado, foram apresentados 32 projetos de leis relacionados ao trabalho, assistência e previdência, no entanto, apenas três abordam diretamente o trabalho plataformizado, sem assegurar proteção adequada aos trabalhadores. Dessa forma, o estudo contribui para um entendimento mais abrangente das condições de trabalho e das políticas destinadas à proteção dos trabalhadores plataformizados em Manaus, evidenciando as complexidades e os desafios enfrentados nesse cenário.
