In the second part of the work, we highlight the story of how Khan Academy came about and the platform's features and functionality. The methodology used was bibliographic research with emphasis on the qualitative research approach. Therefore, we argue that digital platforms have an immense importance aimed at learning different contents and in particular the teaching of mathematics for making concrete theoretical bases of this area of human knowledge. Thus, we conclude that the use of the Khan Academy platform, in addition to providing the understanding and internalization of various mathematical concepts, also offers a differentiated teaching process such as dynamic, interactive and immersive learning, making the subject the protagonist of his own knowledge, which is one of the main characteristics and competencies of BNCC. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a plataforma Khan Academy como metodologia inovadora no processo de ensino e aprendizagem na disciplina de matemática, Foram utilizados para o referencial teórico, as diretrizes da BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular), Assim também na neurociência que vem mostrar a funcionalidade da aprendizagem cognitiva no processo da gamificação. No segundo momento do trabalho, destacamos a história de como surgiu a Khan Academy e as características e funcionalidades da plataforma. A metodologia empregada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica tendo como ênfase a abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa. Portanto, defendemos que as plataformas digitais tem uma imensa importância voltado a aprendizagens de diversos conteúdos e em específico o Ensino da matemática por tornar concretos bases teóricas dessa área do saber humano.
