This paper aims about how affective factors such as self-esteem, anxiety and
motivation, can influence the writing on L2/FL and consequently its learning. Will be
presented the types of error correction, and the way it is made, and may thus affect
the student´s emotional part, bringing consequences for their learning. Beliefs about
correction will be also part of this study because the teacher´s beliefs affect the way
they guide their practices in the classroom, and the students also bring their beliefs to
the classroom. We´ll present a qualitative research where students from the 8º period
of the Language and Literature course will answer a questionnaire about their
difficulties in writing in English, focusing on the emotional factor. |
