This project has its base in the bibliographical stamp, where in the course of the
same will be found citations of some authors who have their bases in indigenous
education in special the (KRAHÔ). What actually made me research indigenous
school education, especially for the KRAHÔ people. It was the fact of
understanding a little bit of this culture, especially the way in which they are
educated. Thus, the work sought to analyze and describe the situation of
education in the 19 de Abril State Indigenous School in the Manoel Alves
Pequeno Village. To do this we tried to report on the development of the students
in terms of reading and writing; to understand how the presence of a teacher from
the same people has made the students' development more productive; and to
show how the students react to this change. From everything that has been
presented throughout this work, it is possible to affirm that there is a great difficulty
on the part of Brazilian society to create methodologies and institutions that can
really include the indigenous population, which leads to the constant growth of
discrimination, prejudice, and existing social inequality. |
