What actually made me research indigenous school education, especially for the KRAHÔ people. It was the fact of understanding a little bit of this culture, especially the way in which they are educated. Thus, the work sought to analyze and describe the situation of education in the 19 de Abril State Indigenous School in the Manoel Alves Pequeno Village. To do this we tried to report on the development of the students in terms of reading and writing; to understand how the presence of a teacher from the same people has made the students' development more productive; and to show how the students react to this change. From everything that has been presented throughout this work, it is possible to affirm that there is a great difficulty on the part of Brazilian society to create methodologies and institutions that can really include the indigenous population, which leads to the constant growth of discrimination, prejudice, and existing social inequality. Este projeto tem sua base no cunho bibliográfico, onde no decorrer dos mesmos serão encontradas citações de alguns autores que têm suas bases em educação escolar indígena, em especial, a educação escolar índigema KRAHÔ. O que na realidade nos motivou pesquisar sobre a educação escolar indígena, em especial, o povo KRAHÔ, foi o fato de entender um pouco dessa cultura, em especial a forma na qual eles são educados. Assim sendo, o trabalho buscou analisar e descrever a situação da educação na Escola Estadual Indígena 19 de Abril da Aldeia Manoel Alves Pequeno. Para isso foi tentado relatar como está o desenvolvimento do aluno no que diz respeito a ler e escrever; entender como a presença de um professor do mesmo povo tem feito com que o desenvolvimento dos alunos fosse mais produtivo e mostrar como os alunos reagem a essa mudança. A partir de tudo que foi apresentado no decorrer do trabalho, é possível afirmar que realmente existe uma grande dificuldade por parte da sociedade brasileira em criar metodologias e instituições que realmente consigam incluir a população indígena, o que faz com que haja o constante crescimento da discriminação, preconceito e desigualdade social existente. 2023-02-07T20:22:14Z 2023-02-07T20:22:14Z 2023-02-07 Monografia ARAÚJO, Mércia da Silva.
