This research aims to reflect about the training of the teachers in teaching internship, for that it is fundamentally important bring about internship discussions, the report of an academic that has finished the four internships required by the Geography Course, completed in a public school, seeking to highlight the experiences lives in the four internships of the Geography Course of the Federal University in Tocantins, in the Colégio de Aplicação in Araguaina-TO. To understand this aim the structure was observed, the school‟s dynamic and functionality, in the period of the inquisitive internship in the project application. It was necessary to identify the geographic categories present in the issues taught in the classes and discuss the approach strategies. Highlight through the reports the effective teaching practice during the internships. This way show the results of the execution proposed by the internships, and the theoretical and practical reflections about the future working field, Teaching geography. This research highlights effectively the internship practices, showing methodologies that were and should be followed, so the internship can be contributory for teaching in school units As disciplinas de estágio fazem parte da grade curricular da grande maioria dos cursos de graduação, porque é nesse momento que o acadêmico terá o contato prático com a sua futura área de atuação profissional, nos cursos de licenciaturas com as vivências no âmbito escolar, nas observações da estrutura, gestão, em sala de aula e também participando dos trâmites burocráticos (planejamento de aula e preenchimentos de diários) que farão parte da atuação docente. A pesquisa caminhou no sentido de refletir a formação docente no âmbito dos estágios, devido a isso é de fundamental importância trazer para o cerne das discussões o estágio, o relato de experiências de um acadêmico que cumpriu os quatros estágios exigidos pelo Curso de Licenciatura em Geografia realizado em um colégio da rede pública de ensino, tendo como objetivo evidenciar as experiências nos quatros estágios do curso de geografia da Universidade Federal do Tocantins no Colégio de Aplicação em Araguaína – TO. Para atender esse objetivo observou-se a estrutura, dinâmica e funcionabilidade da unidade concedente do estágio, no período dos estágios investigativos e na aplicação do projeto. Foi necessário identificar as categorias geográficas presentes nos conteúdos abordados nas regências e discutir estratégias de abordagem. Evidenciar através dos relatos das regências a efetiva prática docente durante os estágios. Desta forma apresenta como resultados a execução propostas pelos estágios, bem como as reflexões teórico e práticas da futura área de atuação profissional, à docência em geografia.
