The general objective is to analyze how the presence/absence of black female teachers in the classroom can influence the construction of the ethnic-racial identity of black female students. The following themes were addressed in the theoretical framework: Ethnic and racial identity; Black teachers; Black women; Black students; Gender and Race. As for the methodology, this is a descriptive and exploratory research, with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through semi- structured interviews, with the collaboration of four black women. The data analysis was performed through content analysis, from which it was possible to realize that the presence of black female teachers significantly influences the construction of identity of black girls. In addition, it was possible to evidence that if the black teacher has a positive racial identity construction, she will have a greater chance of contributing to the valorization of the ethno- racial identity of her students. Este trabalho tem como tema central: mulher negra e escolarização. O objetivo geral consiste em analisar de que forma a presença/ausência de professoras negras em sala de aula pode influenciar na construção da identidade étnico-racial de alunas negras. No referencial teórico foram abordados os seguintes temas: Identidade étnico-racial; Professoras negras; Mulheres negras; Alunas negras; Gênero e Raça. Quanto à metodologia, trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com a colaboração de quatro mulheres negras. A análise de dados foi realizada através de análise de conteúdo, a partir da qual foi possível perceber que a presença de professoras negras influência de forma significativa na construção de identidade de meninas negras.
