CNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS Obligatory curricular training was conducted at the Veterinary Hospital of the Veterinary School and Animal Science of the Federal University of Goiás (HV-EVZ-UFG), located in the Campus II - Samambaia, Goiânia / GO, from 3 November 2014 to 16 January 2015, the Medical and Surgical Clinic area of Small Animals, totaling 345 hours. In this period were attended 110 clinical cases and were monitored for 27 surgical cases. The trainees were divided into sectors, which accompanied the Veterinarians residents in attendance, making the history, physical examination and collection of biological samples, where permitted, and still follow surgical procedures, from the preoperative to the postoperative period, and the release the patient by acompanhemnto the veterinarian anesthesiologist. This paper describes the activities developed during the stage and describes three cases followed at the HV-EVZ-UFG. The stage was very important because it allowed the integration of clinical and surgical practice in daily work which is extremely necessary for proper qualification of the student as it is the sole responsibility of the veterinarian the implementation of clinical medicine practice and animals that surgical allow contribute to the promotion and the Animal Health welfare. O estágio curricular obrigatório foi realizado no Hospital Veterinário da Escola de Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade Federal de Goiás (HV-EVZ-UFG), localizada no Campus II - Samambaia, Goiânia/GO, no período de 03 de novembro de 2014 a 16 de Janeiro de 2015, na área de Clinica Médica e Cirúrgica de Pequenos Animais, totalizando 345 horas. Neste período foram atendidos 110 casos clínicos e foi realizado o acompanhamento de 27 casos cirúrgicos. Os estagiários foram divididos em setores, onde acompanhavam os Médicos Veterinários residentes no atendimento, realizando a anamnese, exame físico e coleta de amostras biológicas, quando permitido, e ainda acompanhar procedimentos cirúrgicos, desde o pré-operatório até o pós-operatório, e a liberação do paciente mediante o acompanhamento do Médico Veterinário Anestesiologista. O presente trabalho relata as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio e descreve três casos clínicos acompanhados no HV-EVZ UFG. O estágio foi de suma importância, pois permitiu a inserção da prática clínica e cirúrgica no cotidiano profissional que é extremamente necessário para uma adequada qualificação do graduando, uma vez que é responsabilidade exclusiva do Médico Veterinário a execução da prática da clínica médica e cirúrgica animal que permitem contribuir com a promoção da saúde e do bem-estar da Animal. 2023-08-23T13:16:13Z 2023-08-23T13:16:13Z 2015 Relatório MESQUITA JUNIOR, Jurandi.
