The organization was already carrying out a Popular Education work with the community, learning about a school model that allowed young peasants to continue to live in the countryside and at the same time to have access to adequate schooling, the Center for Alternative Technologies (CTA) To the NGO, sent four collaborators to go to Espírito Santo to learn about the experience of the EFA of the Educational and Promotional Movement of the State of Espírito Santo (MEPES) to implement one of these schools in the municipality, which was completed in 1994. The aforementioned institution is the object of study of the present research, which deals specifically with the Community Time of the students of the year 2016. In this perspective has as general objective to analyze the development of educational activities, concerning the Community Time of the high school students of the 3rd and 4th year of Integrated High School - Agricultural Technician. Methodological procedures included a bibliographic survey, questionnaires, visits to families in rural properties, monitoring of educational activities in the EFA, analysis and tabulation of the data obtained in the field and writing of the final text. Among the results obtained there is a trend of increasing the untying of young peasants from the historical practices that make up the life of their families, there is discontent among the elders because many of the va lues are lost, the young people claim that in the field there are few Prospects for the future and see opportunities for professional growth in the city. Despite the findings that possibly refer to half of the sample analyzed, the other part demonstrates the value of the field as a productive environment and where it intends to invest its work to help parents and to believe that their technical training can contribute to generate income and better living conditions for your family. In this way the EFA of Porto Nacional has been contributing to promote the transformation of the Tocantins' field, since education plays a fundamental role in this process, through significant educational practices for students, such as training that promotes the professionalization of the rural worker. A Escola Família Agrícola de Porto Nacional foi criada em 1994 por iniciativa de uma Organização Não Governamental (ONG), a Comunidade de Saúde, Desenvolvimento e Educação - COMSAÚDE, para atender a demanda dos filhos de agricultores do município de Porto Nacional. A entidade já realizava um trabalho de Educação Popular junto à comunidade, após ter conhecimento de um modelo de escola que permitia aos jovens camponeses continuar residindo no campo e ao mesmo tempo ter acesso à escolarização adequada, o Centro de Tecnologias Alternativas (CTA), vinculado à ONG, enviou quatro colaboradores para que fossem ao Espírito Santo conhecer a experiência da EFA do Movimento Educacional e Promocional do Estado do Espírito Santo (MEPES) para que implantassem no município uma dessas escolas, o que se concretizou em 1994. A citada instituição é o objeto de estudo da presente pesquisa, que trata especificamente do Tempo Comunidade dos estudantes do ano de 2016. Nesta perspectiva tem como objetivo geral analisar o desenvolvimento das atividades educativas, referentes ao Tempo Comunidade dos estudantes do ensino médio do 3º e 4º ano do Ensino Médio Integrado - Técnico em Agropecuária. Como procedimentos metodológicos utilizou-se levantamento bibliográfico, aplicação de questionários, visitas às famílias nas propriedades rurais, acompanhamento das atividades educativas na EFA, análise e tabulação dos dados obtidos em campo e redação do texto final. Entre os resultados obtidos percebe-se uma tendência de aumento da desvinculação dos jovens camponeses das práticas históricas que compõem a vida de suas famílias, há um descontentamento entre os mais velhos por verem muitos dos valores se perderem, os jovens alegam que no campo há poucas perspectivas de futuro e veem na cidade possibilidades de crescimento profissional. Apesar das constatações que se referem possivelmente à metade da amostra analisada, a outra parte demonstra valorizar o campo como ambiente produtivo e onde pretende investir seu trabalho para ajudar os pais e por acreditar que sua formação técnica poderá contribuir para gerar renda e melhores condições de vida para sua família.
