And also the need to have a teaching method that keeps up with these changes. It was designed based on the experience gained in the classroom during the Geography degree training course at the Federal University of Tocantins, on the Porto Nacional campus, and also in the practical activities of the course's internship subjects, in which it was possible to observe the difficulty of Geography teachers in making classes more interesting to attract students' attention. Active methodologies aim to insert the student as the main subject of learning, committing to their learning at all stages, through individual or collective studies and are excellent tools to help with learning by placing the student as the protagonist of their knowledge. The research methodology was based on reading different sources: such as books and websites for theoretical construction and we also sought to find out from some Basic Education teachers in Porto Nacional, about active methodologies. All teachers who responded to the questionnaire agree that active methodologies are important for teaching and learning. They all stated that they use active methods in their classes and the results have been positive O trabalho de pesquisa que se apresenta, tem como objetivo refletir sobre as metodologias ativas para o ensino de Geografia, tendo em vista as alterações tecnológicas que está acontecendo no mundo, sobretudo em função da pandemia do novo Corona Vírus, iniciada em 2020 e que ainda segue até o momento (02 de junho de 2022), que impôs ao mundo o ensino remoto na Educação. E também a necessidade de se ter um método de ensino que acompanhe essas mudanças. Foi pensado com base na experiência obtida em sala de aula durante curso de formação de licenciatura em Geografia na Universidade Federal do Tocantins, no campus de Porto Nacional e também nas atividades práticas das disciplinas de estágios do curso, em que foi possível observar a dificuldade dos professores de Geografia em tornar as aulas mais interessantes para contar com a atenção dos alunos. As metodologias ativas têm como finalidade a inserção do aluno como principal sujeito da aprendizagem, comprometendo-se com seu aprendizado em todas as fases, através de estudos individuais ou coletivos e são excelentes ferramentas para ajudar no aprendizado colocando o aluno como protagonista do seu conhecimento. A metodologia de pesquisa deu-se a partir da leitura de diversas fontes: como livros e sites da internet para a construção teórica e também buscamos saber de alguns professores da Educação Básica de Porto Nacional sobre metodologias ativas. Todos os professores que responderam o questionário concordam que as metodologias ativas são importantes para o ensino e aprendizado todos afirmaram que que usa métodos ativos em suas aulas e os resultados tem sido positivo.Procuramos docentes de Geografia de sete (7 ) escolas públicas de Porto Nacional, sendo uma (1) escola pública federal e seis (6) escolas públicas estaduais, para responderem a um questionário sobre o uso de metodologias ativas sem ala de aula. 2023-12-21T15:45:07Z 2023-12-21T15:45:07Z 2023-12-21 Artigo SANTOS, Lucas Fernandes dos.
