Assessment of the teaching-learning process, necessary for the educator and the student, enabling better understanding and planning in order to provide more effective results for the development of both, especially the student. Tool that analyzes the method, the application, as well as the result, providing reflections and important discoveries that contribute to the advances of the agents involved. This scenario pointed to the following problem: What has been discussed in the last 05 (five) years about the assessment of learning in UFT's master's and doctoral programs, given that a pandemic has been experienced in the world that has had consequences for education? In this sense, this article's general objective is to analyze the theses and dissertations from the Capes bank, produced by the stricto sensu programs at the Federal University of Tocantins, whose object was learning assessment, in the last 5 (five) years. Our research is bibliographic, documentary, descriptive and qualitative. The research showed us that discussions about evaluation are present within this research context, but in a limited way, making us feel the need for more detailed approaches and development of questions for greater contributions to this topic.
