It aimed to make a study of the life trajectory, seeking to interpret memories that were relevant in the process of teacher training. The chosen methodology was the history of life, which constitutes a movement, giving meaning to life and its historicity (Bragança, 2012). As a theoretical reference I have applied Le Goff (1990), Candau (2012), António Nóvoa (1992, 1999) and Souza (2014). The life story, helped me to reflect on the profession, to be a teacher, revealing the devaluation, accompanied with great daily difficulties, that happen in the back and forth at school. With this study I was able to return to the past, to revisit my memories and memories that were important in my life trajectory. Finally, I see that every teacher should revisit his past and write his memoirs, his life stories, reflecting on the narratives, reflecting his stories and teaching practices in education. O presente memorial é fruto de minha história de vida, um retorno ao passado na busca por memórias sentidas e vividas, atravessada pela infância, pelo processo de formação e da docência que constituíram como professor. Teve como objetivo fazer um estudo da trajetória de vida, buscando interpretar memórias que foram relevantes no processo de formação docente. A metodologia escolhida foi a história de vida, que se constitui como um movimento, dando sentido à vida e a sua historicidade (Bragança, 2012). Como referencial teórico acionei Le Goff (1990), Candau (2012), António Nóvoa (1992, 1999) e Souza (2014). A história de vida, ajudou-me a refletir sobre a profissão, ser professor, revelando a desvalorização, acompanhada com grandes dificuldades cotidiana, que acontecem nas idas e voltas na escola. Com este estudo pude revisitar as minhas memórias e lembranças que foram importantes na minha trajetória de vida.
