Resumo:
This work is linked to the study group called "the playfulness in the process of teaching and learning the Portuguese Language", coordinated by Dr. Zilda Laura Ramalho Paiva, at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), campus Castanhal, and highlights the importance of playfulness for the teaching of the Portuguese language. In this way, our studies focus on the theoretical perspectives of Luckesi (2014), Almeida (2007), Fortuna (2011), Fiorin (2012), Duarte et al. (2011) and others. In this sense, this research has as general objective to reflect on classroom playfulness, more precisely, the pedagogical game as an instrument for the development of the lexical capital of elementary school students; and as specific objectives: 1) to elaborate a pedagogical game to aid in the development of the lexical capital of elementary school students, and 2) to verify if pedagogical games can provide the reflexively development of lexical capital. To achieve our objectives, we developed a research that is characterized as qualitative-interpretive of an applied nature
