The work entitled "Didactic games as an instrument for learning the orthography of the Portuguese Language: the relation between orality and writing" arose from discussions carried out within the scope of the research project Ludicomics in teaching and learning Portuguese Language, under the coordination of Professor Zilda Paiva. Debates of these , it was emphasized that the orthographic difficulties of students occur at different levels of education (from basic to higher education) and that the way this subject is taught in classrooms, in general, does not allow reflection or playfulness. In this sense, approaching this theme becomes important because it understands that the ludic activities can offer the students an indispensable structure for their development, as: actions in the imaginative sphere, motivations, creativity and interaction with the other. Thus, we defined as general objective "to reflect on the use of didactic games in the process of teaching and learning the spelling of LP" and, as specific objectives, 1) to elaborate a didactic game to aid in the process of teaching and learning the spelling, 2) to verify if the educational games can provide the learning of the spelling of reflective form. As a way to achieve our objectives, we developed a research of the qualitative-interpretative type and applied nature based on the theoretical ones: Teixeira (2008), Oliveira (2009), Lüdke and André (1986) among others. The results point to the fact that the educational games about the orality and writing relationship in questions of orthographic doubts can help in the development of a reflexive learning.
