The Engenho Jaguarari (PA-BA-075) archaeological site, located on the right bank of the Moju River near the Moju-Alça bridge, 28 km from Belém-PA, was impacted by the Alça-Viária project in 2001, whose works reached the context of the vestiges of the old constructions that, due to their fragile structure, are in continuous process of degradation and neglected by the public power. As an alternative to its preservation, the proposal for site valuation actions has been discussed. In this context, this work aims to reflect on communication in digital social media, as a privileged space for the communication, preservation and dissemination of the memory of this archaeological site. |
